In a previous lecture on Synthetic Division, we divided the following:

Remainder Theorem

The remainder from synthetic division is equal to f(h), where h is equal to the constant in your binomial.

Our constant is 3, and our remainder is 19, so we expect f(3) to be 19. Let's check. What is f(3)?

Figure 3.

f(3) = 19
