Prime Number

A Prime Number is a whole number that has only two factors: 1 and itself.

For example, "7" is a prime number. Its only two factors are "1" and "7".

Composite Number

A Composite Number is a whole number that has more than two factors.

For example, "4" is a composite number. Its factors are "1", "2", and "4".
