A polynomial equation that represents a function is known as a polynomial function.

Here, our polynomial function has a degree of 2, a leading coefficient of 7, and represents a cubic relationship.

An equation with a degree of 1 represents a linear relationship. An equation with a degree of 2 represents a cubic relationship. An equation with a degree of 3 represents a quadratic relationship.
