Inequality

An inequality is a way of comparing two sets of numbers

Here are a few examples of inequalities:

1 < 2

3 > 2

3 < 4

The first states that 1 is less than 2. The second states that 3 is greater than 2. The third states that 3 is less than for.

Above, the less than or equal symbol is shown. The first statement (2 is less than or equal to 2) is true, while the second statement (2 is less than 2) is not true.
