Quadratic Function

A Quadratic Function is a type of nonlinear function.

Above are two examples of graphs of quadratic functions. These are called Parabolas.

On the left, we have a quadratic equation. We can graph it by plugging in a series of "x" values to determine the resulting "y" values. The table on the right shows how we calculated our ordered pairs for graphing.
