Scale Drawings/Scale Models

A Scale Drawing (sometimes called a Scale Model) is a representation of an object that cannot be drawn to actual size.

A map, like the one shown above, is an example of a scale drawing. The scale is located in the lower-left hand corner.

Scale

A Scale gives the relationship between the drawing and the actual object being represented.
